There was an upset when higher ranked BelgianKangoeroes (12-8) were defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Dutch Zwolle (6-14) 72-67 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Boyd Van Der Vuurst (193-1999) who scored 16 points. Jacobus Stolk (195-1997) chipped in 14 points. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (201-2001) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and American-Nigerian guard Tobi Ewuosho (196-1997, college: Alabama St.) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Zwolle maintains fourteenth position with 6-14 record, which they share with Den Helder. Mechelen lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with eight games lost.
